Claude Collaboration Kicked Off My Business

I am not shy about this: AI collaboration has been a game-changer for reframeRIA.

I talked about it on the Wantrepreneur to Entrepreneur podcast, and I want to be clear about something:

AI is not the end-all-be-all. It is the amplifier.

Here is what most people get wrong about AI—and how I actually use it to grow my business.

The Wrong Way to Think About AI

A lot of people are either terrified of AI or wildly overestimating what it can do.

One camp thinks AI is going to replace them. The other camp thinks AI is going to do all the work while they sit back and collect checks.

Both are wrong.

AI is not a replacement. It is a collaborator, an automater, and a refiner.

And when you use it that way, it creates more space for the human element of your business—not less.

How I Use Claude

Here is how I actually use Claude in my business:

Collaborator

I use Claude to brainstorm ideas, refine messaging, and work through strategy. It is like having a thinking partner available 24/7.

When I am stuck on how to position a service or frame a concept for advisors, I talk it through with Claude. Not to get a final answer, but to explore different angles and perspectives.

Automater

I use Claude to draft content, build frameworks, and create templates. Things that would take me hours—like drafting a client report structure or building a workflow template—Claude can help me create in minutes.

This is not about replacing my expertise. It is about accelerating execution so I am not bogged down in the mechanics of creating deliverables.

Refiner

I use Claude to edit, improve clarity, and tighten structure. I write first drafts. Claude helps me refine them into something clearer, more concise, and more impactful.

This is where AI really shines—taking something good and making it better.

What AI Does Not Replace

But here is what AI does not do:

The relationships I build with advisors? Human.

AI cannot build trust. It cannot read between the lines in a client conversation. It cannot sense when someone is frustrated, overwhelmed, or excited about a new direction.

The strategic insights that come from experience? Human.

AI does not know what it is like to build a business from scratch, face rejection, or navigate the messy reality of operational chaos. Those insights come from lived experience.

The trust that drives business growth? Human.

People do not hire me because of the documents I create. They hire me because they trust me to understand their challenges and help them build something better.

AI handles the grind so I can focus on what actually matters—the human work.
